早上經文
他對我說、這是耶和華指示所羅巴伯的．萬軍之耶和華說、不是倚靠勢力、不是倚靠才能、乃是倚靠我的靈、方能成事。
誰曾測度耶和華的心、〔或作誰曾指示耶和華的靈〕、或作他的謀士指教他呢。
神卻揀選了世上愚拙的、叫有智慧的羞愧．又揀選了世上軟弱的、叫那強壯的羞愧．神也揀選了世上卑賤的、被人厭惡的、以及那無有的、為要廢掉那有的．使一切有血氣的、在神面前一個也不能自誇。
風隨著意思吹、你聽見風的響聲、卻不曉得從那裡來、往那裡去．凡從聖靈生的、也是如此。 - 這等人不是從血氣生的、不是從情慾生的、也不是從人意生的、乃是從神生的。
這是照著你們出埃及我與你們立約的話．那時、我的靈住在你們中間．你們不要懼怕。 - 他說、猶大眾人、耶路撒冷的居民、和約沙法王、你們請聽、耶和華對你們如此說、不要因這大軍恐懼、驚惶、因為勝敗不在乎你們、乃在乎神。
又使這眾人知道耶和華使人得勝、不是用刀用槍．因為爭戰的勝敗全在乎耶和華．他必將你們交在我們手裡。

Morning Scripture
So he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: `Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty.
Who has understood the mind of the LORD, or instructed him as his counselor?
But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things--and the things that are not--to nullify the things that are,so that no one may boast before him.
The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit." - children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.
`This is what I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt. And my Spirit remains among you. Do not fear.' - He said: "Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says to you: `Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's.
All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the LORD saves; for the battle is the LORD's, and he will give all of you into our hands."
