傍晚經文
不但如此、就是在患難中、也是歡歡喜喜的．因為知道患難生忍耐．
我們若靠基督、只在今生有指望、就算比眾人更可憐。
親愛的弟兄阿、有火煉的試驗臨到你們、不要以為奇怪、（似乎是遭遇非常的事）倒要歡喜．因為你們是與基督一同受苦、使你們在他榮耀顯現的時候、也可以歡喜快樂。 - 似乎憂愁、卻是常常快樂的．似乎貧窮、卻是叫許多人富足的．似乎一無所有、卻是樣樣都有的。
你們要靠主常常喜樂．我再說、你們要喜樂。 - 他們離開公會、心裡歡喜．因被算是配為這名受辱。
但願使人有盼望的神、因信、將諸般的喜樂平安、充滿你們的心、使你們藉著聖靈的能力、大有盼望。
雖然無花果樹不發旺、葡萄樹不結果、橄欖樹也不效力、田地不出糧食、圈中絕了羊、棚內也沒有牛．然而我要因耶和華歡欣、因救我的神喜樂。

Evening Scripture
Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;
If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men.
Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you.But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. - sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! - The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.
