盜賊來、無非要偷竊、殺害、毀壞．我來了、是要叫羊〔或作人〕得生命、並且得的更豐盛。
只是分別善惡樹上的果子、你不可喫、因為你喫的日子必定死。 - 於是女人見那棵樹的果子好作食物、也悅人的眼目、且是可喜愛的、能使人有智慧、就摘下果子來喫了．又給他丈夫、他丈夫也喫了。
因為罪的工價乃是死．惟有神的恩賜、在我們的主基督耶穌裡、乃是永生。 - 若因一人的過犯、死就因這一人作了王、何況那些受洪恩又蒙所賜之義的、豈不更要因耶穌基督一人在生命中作王麼。 - 死既是因一人而來、死人復活也是因一人而來。在亞當裡眾人都死了．照樣、在基督裡眾人也都要復活。 - 但如今藉著我們救主基督耶穌的顯現、纔表明出來了。他已經把死廢去、藉著福音、將不能壞的生命彰顯出來。
這見證、就是神賜給我們永生、這永生也是在他兒子裡面。人有了神的兒子就有生命．沒有神的兒子就沒有生命。 - 因為神差他的身子降世、不是要定世人的罪、〔或作審判世人下同〕乃是要叫世人因他得救。

Morning Scripture
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die." - When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. - For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ. - For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. - but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.
And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. - For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
